A personal journey

Trading is a very personal journey, as all long term participants find out one way or another.  It is likely to be a grueling passage of introspection and personal transformation, with the most rewarding experience of growth you will ever encounter. The financial markets do not have time to pity you or wait for you to make a decision.  Its flow is like a torrent river which can never be harnessed, but for savvy traders who understand this and patiently stalk the market for the right set-up their is an opportunity to make profits virtually without lifting a finger or breaking a sweat.

Superior investors all have done their due diligence and studied quality material in great depth. Their understanding of the market movements, market psychology, their own psychology and trading tools are second to none, and their aim is to keep everything as simple as possible. Like any cooking recipe simplicity is the key. Traders can become very overwhelmed with the amount of information, financial jargon, tools, isolators, instruments, strategies, trading plans, and the newest fandangle indicators enticing them to believe that they must buy this new item that will help them unlock the secrets to extracting millions from the markets. Most traders end up totally confused and fail to realize that if they want to be successful simplicity is the key. It's impossible and unnecessary to know everything about the financial markets or about every tool and indicator.

"Unconscious Competence"

So many traders jump from one trading plan to another, hoping to discover a golden strategy that will free them from their current situation and bring them the wealth they desire overnight.
